C++ Engineer (H/F)

The development engineer will analyze user needs and design, code, test, debug, document and maintain software solutions.
Main responsibilities :
· Define user requirements for development of new or improvement of existing software solutions.
· Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies.
· Propose viable technical solutions to Product Management and/or users for validation.
· Model, design and implement databases as necessary.
· Develop software according to Standards.
· Conduct unit, package and performance tests of the software and ensure a level of quality in line with the guidelines.
· Participate in the validation / acceptance phase of the product cycle ensuring the fine-tuning necessary to finalize the product.
· Produce software documentation necessary for the application and issue it to the requesting departments.
· Support the end user in the Production phase by debugging existing software solutions in response to Problem Tracking Records and Change Requests issued from Product Management
Job Requirements Engineering degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)Technical skills in software development are expected :
· Strong knowledge of C++ is mandatory
· Knowledge of UNIX/Linux and SQL is required
· Experience of Code optimization/efficiency techniques and Scripting - Shell/ Python is a plus.
· Experience in scripting languages is a plus (Groovy, JavaScript)
The candidate should have the following skills in addition to the above mentioned skills
· Estimation/Sizing
· Planning & Prioritizing
· Status reporting
· Good interaction with global teams
· Experience in Agile methodology would be an added advantage
