Software Engineer for Quality Assurance Team (f/m) - 703445

We are looking for a software engineer for the Intel Debugger and Embedded Software Products Quality Engineering Team in Ulm. The main activities include writing and running high quality and complex automated tests for our application and system debuggers. These tests target the engine and GUI part of the debugger. The main job focus is to ensure and improve the overall quality of our different debugger products.
Our team puts an emphasis on building automated tests for the different advanced debugging technologies. We do all sorts of testing from white box to destructive testing and strive to get into the development process as early as possible. Therefore we work closely and in tight collaboration with the different development teams.

Qualifications
You should possess a Diploma or a Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent discipline.
Requirements:
- High motivation and sense to improve software quality
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Software development experiences in a major programming language like C/C++
- Good knowledge of a scripting language.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Interest in low-level and embedded environments
- Strong team player
- Fluent in English languageThe following qualifications would be added advantages:
- Experience with Linux and Windows
- OS SW development environments
- Experience in working with open source projects
- Experience in automated SW validation and testing
- Experience in debugging concepts
- Good knowledge of the German language
